iMessage is Apple's built-in instant messaging service that lets you send messages back and forth with any imessage user on iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, or a Mac running Mountain Lion or later. Not only can you send text, photo, and video messages with iMessage, but voice memos, links attached, and locations, as well. Compared with common text messages like SMS or MMS, iMessages has its unique advantages over the two common texting methods.
How to differentiate iMessage from SMS and MMS?
- 1、The text bubble of iMessage is blue, different from green bubble of SMS.
2、You can send an iMessage to one person or to many friends at once. When someone replies, everyone sees it.
3、 iMessage tells you if a message is read or received, so you can get a quicker response.
4、When someone’s in the middle of a reply, iMessage shows you.
