Apple has ceased downgrade from iOS 8 to iOS 7.1.2

Apple has finally ceased signing iOS 7.1.2 on friday, which means that it is no longer possible to downgrade from iOS 8 once you have installed the update. If you’re still unsure about iOS 8 and have yet to pull the trigger, be aware that there’s now no turning back once you do. 

New features of Messages in iOS 8

At first glance, you may not notice anything different about the Messages in iOS 8, but there is definitely a lot more going on when compared to iOS 7. Within the Messages app, Apple added several features including Tap to Talk which allows you to quickly record an audio message to send inline within the app and the ability to quick reply to incoming messges.

Apple Pay 

Using new NFC technology in the iPhone 6, you'll now be able to use your iPhone at the checkout counter of many popular stores. Apple calls it Apple Pay. With an easy scan of your credit card using the iPhone camera, you can store all your credit and bank cards using Passbook. Then, when you're at the checkout counter, you'll be able to hold your iPhone up to the touchless payment system, verify with your fingerprint on the home button, and the purchase is finished.
